The referee ignored Olavarría AFC's protests and gave Jeremias Vitin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olavarría AFC booed when Ranquilcó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Domingos Eguerdi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ranquilcó FC had won after a very even match.
