Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Vistruario took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jacinto Lore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Frutos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Jacinto Lore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tobias Frutos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Alem's Igor Polo got control of the ball when Amado Gitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alem's zone, Amado Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Polo came out of the goal and Amado Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Vistruario in the 20th minute of play. If Marco Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Marco Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furia Azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Vistruario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Gitano in the 27th minute. Jacinto Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Alem getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Norberto Botello hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Baudelio in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Frutos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Norberto Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Furia Azul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alem were winning 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Harri during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alem getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fermin Harri hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Furia Azul. Leonel Mitxel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Igor Polo. 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Alem's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Gitano came free, but Igor Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jacinto Lore came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Alem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Lore couldn't finish the play. Amado Gitano might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Polo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Gitano ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Vistruario in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Gitano in the 94th minute of play forced Alem's goalkeeper Igor Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
