Angel Criston might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Erasto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Criston ran back to his position shaking his head. Zeledon Millrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Lev Davidovich's goalkeeper Mario Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Sanchez. Mario Erasto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Zeledon Millrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Primeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Octavio George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Primeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Criston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Erasto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Lev Davidovich's Zeledon Millrick got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio George to strike the kick off in the second half. Angel Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Erasto having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Luciano Sanchez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lev Davidovich's Mario Erasto. Mario Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luciano Sanchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Erasto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Lev Davidovich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Millrick to maneuver through the defense.
