With a little luck, Despedida's Lisandro Ler got control of the ball when Desiderio Johans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Damian Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tio Rico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Farias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Farias in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Ler saved Despedida from getting behind. 8 minutes into the game, Damian Farias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lisandro Ler. Damian Farias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Alejo Elizardo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Despedida's protests and gave Alejo Elizardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Alejo Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Johans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Lisandro Ler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonardo Inocente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Bastia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Desiderio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Bastia in the 33rd minute of play forced Tio Rico FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 39th minute when Marciano Bastia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Abel Lixandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Despedida getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Christian Cristofol hit a great ball. If Desiderio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Farias made a kick off. Marciano Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Inocente having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marciano Bastia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Inocente was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Desiderio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Farias scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Ler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Desiderio Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Elizardo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Johans in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Ler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tio Rico FC had won after a very even match.
