Octavio George might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Crescencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavio George ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Filomeno Crescencio managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Lev Davidovich's Albino Lluques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Octavio George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zeledon Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Palben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Erasto having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Casimiro Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menga38's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Petri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Erasto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Menga38's Fernan Palben got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Casimiro Petri made the kick off in the second half. Mario Erasto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casimiro Petri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Palben got free with Mario Erasto in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Menga38 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lev Davidovich throughout the match.
