An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Johans in the 9th minute of play forced Caminiaga's goalkeeper Emanuel Beremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Chico charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Chico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Farias in the 24th minute of play. If Desiderio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Damian Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tio Rico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Farias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Beremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Tio Rico FC's Damian Farias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Beremundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Beremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Farias, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Damian Farias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caminiaga's Emanuel Beremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Faustino Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Tio Rico FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorato Guib to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustino Elorri hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Caminiaga got a corner. Tio Rico FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Candido Rodriguez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Candido Rodriguez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tio Rico FC's Leonardo Inocente did a great save. If Damian Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Caminiaga's goalkeeper Emanuel Beremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Johans. Damian Farias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Beremundo having to interfere. Faustino Erroman took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Inocente. Leonardo Inocente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Faustino Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Caminiaga's Emanuel Beremundo got control of the ball when Desiderio Johans tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Tio Rico FC's Desiderio Johans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Beremundo. Emanuel Beremundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Damian Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, Caminiaga's goalkeeper Emanuel Beremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Johans. 89 minutes into the match, Tio Rico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Guib came free, but Leonardo Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Erroman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Tio Rico FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caminiaga.
