The supporters of Tio Rico FC booed when Jonasito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Veremundo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ismael Llanos. After a defensive mix-up in Jonasito's zone, Benito Urdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Veremundo came out of the goal and Benito Urdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desiderio Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Tio Rico FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
