Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marco Vistruario came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Furia Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Vistruario couldn't finish the play. If Geronimo Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Celipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Geronimo Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petarditos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Tab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Beti having to interfere. If Marco Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Petarditos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Furia Azul were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Celipe was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd play minute Amado Gitano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gaston Beti. 0-2. Julio Celipe succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Leopoldo Stephen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tobias Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Celipe in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Furia Azul defense, Julio Celipe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Frutos. The Furia Azul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Frutos should have stopped the shot. After 77 played minutes Furia Azul got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Stephen. Julio Celipe struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Tobias Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petarditos FC. After a rather tough play, Petarditos FC's Geronimo Tab got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Marco Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marco Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Petarditos FC's Gaston Beti got control of the ball when Amado Gitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Gitano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaston Beti firmly grabbed it by the left post.
