Marciano Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Jonas Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despedida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Umea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Despedida booed when Furia Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despedida's Marciano Bastia managed to work through Furia Azul's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Marciano Bastia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Despedida's Marciano Bastia got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Amado Gitano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Despedida's Lisandro Ler. Lisandro Ler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, Furia Azul's Marco Vistruario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Ler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Despedida's Marciano Bastia got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Frutos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Bastia's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Isaac Ospetsu's late challenge caught a Despedida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Ospetsu helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Amado Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furia Azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Frutos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Bastia's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Isaac Ospetsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Asur in the 73rd minute of play forced Furia Azul's goalkeeper Tobias Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despedida's attack was well implemented in the 74th minute, but when Marciano Bastia was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Marciano Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tobias Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Despedida's Christian Cristofol got a free kick in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Joaquin Asur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Despedida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furia Azul the free kick. After 89 played minutes Despedida got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Asur. Leonel Mitxel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Jonas Umea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marciano Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Frutos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Umea in the 96th minute. The Furia Azul support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
