Zeledon Nayelys short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Carolo Ieltxu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute, Rolando Gasteiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arenaza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emiliano Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Gasteiz in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Domingo Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emiliano Gitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Bertin came free, but Emiliano Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Arenaza FC's Aquilino Teyo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Carolo Ieltxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Aquilino Teyo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arenaza FC's protests and gave Aquilino Teyo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arenaza FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aquilino Teyo hit a great ball. If Blas Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Bertin got free with Emiliano Gitano in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arenaza FC's Carolo Ieltxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Nayely in the 88th minute of play. Zeledon Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carolo Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96thth minute of the game Zeledon Nayely who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arenaza FC's Carolo Ieltxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arenaza FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
