With an all-out effort, Yaros's Flavio Illart threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niceto Dolcet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute, Cristo Jorrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Dolcet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Illart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Nogolí's Horacio Primeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Federico Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Niceto Dolcet made the kick off in the second half. Agustin Mino charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Mino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Yaros got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Mino. Flavio Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Dolcet, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Dolcet in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Illart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 68 minutes, Federico Txindoki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Txindoki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Niceto Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Belarmo's late challenge caught a Yaros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Belarmo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nogolí getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Braulio Belarmo hit a great ball.
