An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Gasteiz in the 8th minute of play forced Esparta's goalkeeper Emiliano Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Rolando Gasteiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emiliano Gitano. Rolando Gasteiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emiliano Gitano made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mariano Bertin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Arenaza FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Martin Loreto hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Esparta's goalkeeper Emiliano Gitano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Bertin. Carolo Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Llorenc in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Gasteiz in the 44th minute of play forced Esparta's goalkeeper Emiliano Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Gasteiz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Arenaza FC's zone, Zeledon Nayely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Ieltxu came out of the goal and Zeledon Nayely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Arenaza FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Santos. If Mariano Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Arenaza FC's Mariano Bertin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Gitano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeledon Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Gitano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Gasteiz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Carolo Ieltxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Ieltxu having to interfere. Arenaza FC's Carolo Ieltxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Arenaza FC from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arenaza FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
