Spectators: 7071 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fulgencio Lertxun started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaramillo's goalkeeper Enzo Phelipe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Fabricio Quinteros in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaramillo's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Lucas George notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Esteve Tiadoro. Esteve Tiadoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Lucas George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Tiadoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Donato Gaitan got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes Jaramillo got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Florian. Enzo Phelipe made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Raul Dolcet sent off a good shot on target. If Fabricio Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabricio Quinteros struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Enzo Phelipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba. Fabricio Quinteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Quinteros to make the kick off. Enzo Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Raul Dolcet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Phelipe was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Enzo Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Dolcet, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Omar Nesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Jaramillo's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Dolcet came free, but Enzo Phelipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Tiadoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas George in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Raul Dolcet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jaramillo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
