Nemesio Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Muc having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, El Jagüel F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Inko came free, but Teobaldo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Tadeo Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. X-F8's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Inko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tadeo Inko might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Muc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeo Inko ran back to his position shaking his head. Godofredo Endira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Muc made a huge save. El Jagüel F.C's Teobaldo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mede in the 31st minute of play. Teobaldo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Inko in the 34th minute of play. Gregorio Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, El Jagüel F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mede came free, but Teobaldo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Muc didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in El Jagüel F.C's zone, Tadeo Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Muc came out of the goal and Tadeo Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Muc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Inko's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Nemesio Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Teobaldo Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in El Jagüel F.C's zone, Tadeo Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Muc came out of the goal and Tadeo Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Tadeo Inko made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Muc. El Jagüel F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Inko in the 69th minute of play forced El Jagüel F.C's goalkeeper Teobaldo Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Otsando in the 73rd minute of play forced X-F8's goalkeeper Arsenio Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tadeo Inko came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the X-F8 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Inko couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Muc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Inko's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Pinto during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of X-F8 booed when El Jagüel F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Madeo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Muc having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, El Jagüel F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Inko came free, but Teobaldo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Inko in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Muc saved El Jagüel F.C from getting behind. Eduardo Mantzio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gregorio Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of X-F8:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Jagüel F.C:s goal. The goalkeeper, Arsenio Abarca, was totally fooled by El Jagüel F.C's Baldomero Emmanuel, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. El Jagüel F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though X-F8 had controlled the match.
