Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Ralondo to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Ralondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Naelio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Chiefs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chiefs's zone, Efrain Fanuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Naelio came out of the goal and Efrain Fanuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
