Jacobo Frances's late challenge caught a Reverendo Alegria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Frances helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute Nestor Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Nestor Sidro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reverendo Alegria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Chiefs's Fermin Naelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Chiefs from getting a goal against them. Fermin Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Tadzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Nestor Sidro notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chiefs's Fermin Naelio. Fermin Naelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. Mariano Pere received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Cebo came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Pere slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 69th minute. Eduardo Leguizamón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Cebo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Reverendo Alegria FC's Leopoldo Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Pere in the 85th minute of play. Fermin Naelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Tadzio went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Eduardo Leguizamón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chiefs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Leguizamón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chiefs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Reverendo Alegria FC.
