The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Martino got free with Leopoldo Cebo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tumberos FC's Armando Eli got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reverendo Alegria FC's Leopoldo Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Martino in the 87th minute of play. If Augusto Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Augusto Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Martino succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. There was no doubt that Tumberos FC were the better team. Tumberos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
