Santo Iruinea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Cebo made a huge save. With a little luck, Reverendo Alegria FC's Leopoldo Cebo got control of the ball when Elvio Inguma tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Santo Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Iruinea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Santo Iruinea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Armando Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chapu FC's Armando Ponc got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 45 in the game by Armando Ponc from a close distance when the talented Leopoldo Cebo managed to make a qualified save. Reverendo Alegria FC's players were relieved. In the 48th minute, Santo Iruinea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Iruinea to strike the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Chapu FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Ponc. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chapu FC fully deserved thier win.
