The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11thth minute of the game Astor Uhin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alumni Futbol Club's Rogelio Bakar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sixto Gelacio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ravdar FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Sayveon was slow to take the kick. During this time Alumni Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Celedonio Sayveon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ravdar FC's Filomeno Tartalo did a great save. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ravdar FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Tartalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogelio Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Uhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Uhin in the 33rd minute of play forced Alumni Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alumni Futbol Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valentin Rayman hit a great ball. Rogelio Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Alumni Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Uhin came free, but Rogelio Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Bakar came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ravdar FC's Luis Fresco. But to his dismay, Luis Fresco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Erlantz to make the kick off. Jorge Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ravdar FC's Danilo Domeka couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alumni Futbol Club. Jorge Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rogelio Bakar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Uhin came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogelio Bakar could save by the left post.
