With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Cebo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee gave Reverendo Alegria FC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Eneto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Xeneize F.C's Niceto Gaizko. 1-1. Niceto Gaizko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Rufo in the 20th minute. Prospero Vermudo was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Reverendo Alegria FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Prospero Vermudo hit a great ball. Joaquin Incendio's late challenge caught a Xeneize F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Incendio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Joaquin Incendio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Sidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Chesus in the 51st minute of play. Godofredo Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Xeneize F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Cayo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Reverendo Alegria FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Angel Nicholas hit a great ball. The nice shot from Godofredo Ralondo in the 63rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Leopoldo Cebo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Joaquin Incendio was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Leopoldo Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Godofredo Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xeneize F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Ralondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xeneize F.C played a much better game than Reverendo Alegria FC and deserved their victory. The Reverendo Alegria FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
