In the 7th minute, Chapu FC's Filomeno Tiadoro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogelio Bakar. Rogelio Bakar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Tiadoro in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Bakar saved Alumni Futbol Club from getting behind. Rogelio Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Iruinea in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Chapu FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Virgilio Maule hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Celedonio Sayveon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejandro Gitano skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Iruinea got free with Rogelio Bakar in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Chapu FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Inguma. Celedonio Sayveon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, Fulgencio Javiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alumni Futbol Club and the Chapu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guaberto Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Erlantz in the 43rd minute of the match. Alumni Futbol Club's Rogelio Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Malvin in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santo Iruinea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Gitano made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lucio Barrionuevo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 54 minutes, Filomeno Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Tiadoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Santo Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Iruinea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rogelio Bakar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapu FC. In the 66th minute, Ulises Pabla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Tiadoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Bakar was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Filomeno Tiadoro ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ulises Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Santo Iruinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chapu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chapu FC had played much better football throughout.
