Everardo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Guillelme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Bakar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Rogelio Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Guillelme in the 18th minute of play. Alumni Futbol Club's Rogelio Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Guillelme in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Alumni Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Javiar to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Dantel, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lucio Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Norberto Guillelme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Aking FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Guillelme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Eusebio Jaen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alumni Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Aking FC the free kick. Lucio Barrionuevo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Everardo Viviano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 34 minutes into the game, El Aking FC's Norberto Guillelme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Bakar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bartolo Havier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rogelio Bakar. Alumni Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jorge Erlantz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Alumni Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Erlantz couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Lleir to make the kick off. Alumni Futbol Club's Rogelio Bakar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Alumni Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Marcos Salvatore hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Lucio Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Everardo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Erlantz in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes El Aking FC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Eliazar. When Lucio Barrionuevo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Alumni Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Barrionuevo couldn't finish the play. Jorge Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luisito Dantel kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Jorge Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alumni Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Erlantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Alumni Futbol Club booed when El Aking FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Viviano having to interfere. 86 minutes in the game, Cosme Lleir fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rogelio Bakar having to interfere. Everardo Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Barrionuevo in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, El Aking FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Eliazar to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Everardo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of El Aking FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Alumni Futbol Club side.
