Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Azucena's Cristo Iaki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Firmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Maximino Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Azucena's Paulino Firmo threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elvio Havier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leones FC's Cayetano Florian got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Eduino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Pero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Rolando Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Severino Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leones FC's Rolando Eduino managed to work through Azucena's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rolando Eduino dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Paulino Firmo came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Azucena's Cristo Iaki. But to his dismay, Cristo Iaki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 39 minutes, Cayetano Florian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Azucena players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cayetano Florian hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Azucena's Severino Argenis tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Azucena's Gonzalo Palos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Severino Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Kimetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Leones FC got a corner. Azucena's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Ciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Leones FC's Jorge Ciano to fire away a dangerous shot which Severino Pero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Maximino Kimetz made the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Lehior kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Severino Argenis charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Argenis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severino Pero made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Maximino Kimetz sent off a good shot on target. The Azucena fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Azucena's Cristo Iaki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Maximino Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ladislao Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Cristo Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Firmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Azucena's Cristo Iaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Firmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
