The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Nataniel got free with Cesar Lorencio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Perrando in the 18th minute of play forced Guajal AFC's goalkeeper Cesar Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guajal AFC's goalkeeper Cesar Lorencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Defensores de Belgrano's Raimundo Perrando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesar Lorencio. Cesar Lorencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Emanuel Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Cesar Lorencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Nataniel in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Raimundo Perrando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Cesar Lorencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
