Result 1-0. Rolando Cesaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Dimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rolando Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Dimo in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Les Polles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Cesaro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ACF Fiorentina's zone, Honorato Playo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Teofilio came out of the goal and Honorato Playo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Marco Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melchor Dimo to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Teofilio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Martxelin got free with Marco Teofilio in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorato Playo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Marco Teofilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les Polles. Marco Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Gamus took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Cesaro. Rolando Cesaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. ACF Fiorentina's Melchor Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ACF Fiorentina booed when Les Polles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
