Marco Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Hondo in the 4th minute of play. Eustacio Henry charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustacio Henry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ACF Fiorentina getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Eustacio Henry hit a great ball. Santo Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Fermin Hondo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marco Teofilio, passed just outside the right post. David Peio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Laureano Garikoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Garikoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atletico Huracan booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Dimo in the 18th minute of play forced Club Atletico Huracan's goalkeeper Jose Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Edgardo Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot. ACF Fiorentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Gamus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Micael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fermin Hondo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Club Atletico Huracan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Hondo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Fermin Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Huracan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Hondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justo Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Huracan's Santo Donzel got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Edgardo Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Hondo to make the kick off. Fermin Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Teofilio having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Melchor Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACF Fiorentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Lesardo lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in ACF Fiorentina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! ACF Fiorentina:s Marco Teofilio showed great skill when he stopped Nemesio Endira:s penalty. Justo Sergi took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Teofilio. Marco Teofilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jose Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Gamus in the 73rd minute of play. Fermin Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Teofilio having to interfere. Justo Sergi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marco Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Eustacio Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Gamus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jose Micael firmly grabbed it by the left post. Club Atletico Huracan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
