Les Polles's Rolando Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Gamus in the 15th minute of play. Melchor Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Martxelins short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Marco Teofilio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Polles's goalkeeper Rolando Cesaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roman Larpe kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Javier Martxelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Marco Teofilio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Martxelin. In the 45th minute Honorato Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Cesaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Gamus in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Javier Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Teofilio having to interfere. Rolando Cesaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchor Dimo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. Honorato Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marco Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Martxelin came free, but Marco Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Javier Martxelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eustacio Henry fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACF Fiorentina's protests and gave Eustacio Henry a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Eustacio Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Les Polles's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Martxelin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Teofilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Playo in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Javier Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Javier Martxelin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Les Polles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Martxelin couldn't finish the play. ACF Fiorentina succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Les Polles had controlled the match.
