The crowd rose to their feet as Seeber's Saturnino Gizon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guido Txilar. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Eugenio Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Baldomiro Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Quiroga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Gamus went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Modesto Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Seeber's zone, Anastasio Maxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Quiroga came out of the goal and Anastasio Maxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eugenio Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Gamus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 49 minutes into the game, Atletico Rio Cuarto's Anastasio Maxin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Quiroga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

The wind increased when Eugenio Gamus made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Gamus in the 55th minute of play forced Seeber's goalkeeper Baldomiro Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Atletico Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Claus came free, but Guido Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Seeber's Jonatan Claus made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Txilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Silbestre was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, one of Atletico Rio Cuarto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico Rio Cuarto. Eugenio Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Baldomiro Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
