Tafí's attack was well implemented in the 2nd minute, but when Carmelo Primeiro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Florentino Cordaro struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Feliberto Paz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desaguadero AFC. If Celso Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celso Micael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Hector Guerau hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Florentino Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Tajo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Phelipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Tajo ran back to his position shaking his head. Carmelo Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Phelipe having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Carmelo Primeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carmelo Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mauricio Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Primeiro was the one to do the kick off. Santos Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Florentino Cordaro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Desaguadero AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Cordaro couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Celso Micael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desaguadero AFC's Celso Micael got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Desaguadero AFC booed when Tafí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tafí's Feliberto Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Cordaro in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Desaguadero AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Inocencio Opilano hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Florentino Cordaro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feliberto Paz. Florentino Cordaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Desaguadero AFC defense, Rene Tajo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Phelipe. The Desaguadero AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Phelipe should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Desaguadero AFC booed when Tafí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Celso Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desaguadero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Micael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Desaguadero AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tafí from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
