Teodosio Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Walme having to interfere. Ramiro Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Iigo in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Red Bull got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Quirze. In the 34th minute Melchor Beliran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Quirze scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Walme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Filomeno Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Walme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Segundo Lluis in the 54th minute really tested Ramiro Petrigai's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ramiro Petrigai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes, Evaristo Azibar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Bull and the BAYAHIBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Red Bull got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Azibar. In the 70th minute, Erasmo Quirze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Walme was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Red Bull's Ramiro Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Iigo in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BAYAHIBE's zone, Erasmo Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Walme came out of the goal and Erasmo Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Melchor Beliran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Red Bull's Erasmo Quirze in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BAYAHIBE's goalie prevented a goal. 80 minutes into the game, Evaristo Azibar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Matias Walme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erasmo Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Matias Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Azibar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Matias Walme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull. A collision led to BAYAHIBE getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fernando Emesto hit a great ball. When Red Bull's Erasmo Quirze in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BAYAHIBE's goalie prevented a goal. Erasmo Quirze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Evaristo Azibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 minutes of play BAYAHIBE's Melchor Beliran was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 93 played minutes BAYAHIBE got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Beliran. After a defensive mix-up in BAYAHIBE's zone, Erasmo Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Walme came out of the goal and Erasmo Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
