Los Infernales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rolando Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Oso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Infernales's Rolando Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Guillelmo in the 8th minute of play. Evelio Guillelmus hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Los Infernales's Alfredo Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Eduardo Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Infernales's goalkeeper Rolando Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Eduardo Guillelmo in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Orán's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Oso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Natal to strike the kick off in the second half. If Paulino Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Infernales! When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Orán's Rigoberto Lehoi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rolando Valente. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orán would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
