Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Laborde AFC's Enrique Tonio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 18 minutes into the game, Jacobo Libertad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Quinteros. Jacobo Libertad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fabian Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Sauveur having to interfere. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Alumbrera's Fabian Gregory fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 27 played minutes Laborde AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Libertad. Damaso Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Alumbrera's goalkeeper Fernando Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Tonio. Fabian Gregory took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Sauveur. Damaso Sauveur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Laborde AFC's zone, Ignacio Sidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Sauveur came out of the goal and Ignacio Sidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Sidro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fabian Gregory notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Laborde AFC's Damaso Sauveur. Damaso Sauveur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Ebardo in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Alumbrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Tonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Quinteros having to interfere. In the 65th minute Enrique Tonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Zacarias Dubardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alumbrera's Fernando Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Tonio in the 70th minute of play. Enrique Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes, Laborde AFC's Gilberto Urritz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Quinteros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laborde AFC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Donio during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ramon Escobar hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Damaso Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Ignacio Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Alumbrera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Sidro couldn't finish the play. Fabian Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alumbrera's Ignacio Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Damaso Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alumbrera's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
