Fabricio Balasi made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Atletico Alvarado's Arturo Diaz. Club Atletico Alvarado's Epifanio Peter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Alvarado from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saynatsalo FC's goalkeeper Silvestre Cristofol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Checa to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Alvarado's zone, Narciso Bernat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Peter came out of the goal and Narciso Bernat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Fabio Valery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Peter. Club Atletico Alvarado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Valery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saynatsalo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico Alvarado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
