In the 7th match minute, RIchi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Derwin to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Los Gigantes's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Pepillo came free, but Severo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Gigantes's Bartolo Costante got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeledon Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zeledon Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RIchi FC's Godfredo Lia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Elia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Pepillo in the 26th minute of play. RIchi FC's Rolando Reynardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save RIchi FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in RIchi FC's zone, Bartolo Costante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Reynardo came out of the goal and Bartolo Costante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Los Gigantes booed when RIchi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Reynardo having to interfere. Severo Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Gigantes's Cecilio Merexildo got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Los Gigantes's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Lia came free, but Severo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Pepillo to make the kick off. Los Gigantes's Severo Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Pepillo in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Inocencio Pepillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Los Gigantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Costante took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Reynardo. Rolando Reynardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rolando Reynardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Costante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Gigantes fully deserved thier win.
