Elpidio Marko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Severo Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jamaica FC booed when Los Fresnos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Jamaica FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Txurio. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Blasco to make the kick off.
