Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sixto Gonsalvo got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Ladislao Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Urbes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Francesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Santos Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iguazú AFC's protests and gave Santos Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Iguazú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Cheche. Leonides Urbess short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Miguel Francesco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Galvez AFC's Tiburcio Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Toribio in the 19th minute of play. Miguel Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Umbruso in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galvez AFC's Modesto Petrigai got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Modesto Petrigai kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Leonides Urbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Toribio in the 48th minute of play forced Galvez AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Leonides Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Francesco having to interfere. When Leonides Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Galvez AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Urbes couldn't finish the play. Ladislao Caitano made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sixto Gonsalvo. In the 73rd minute Leonides Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Galvez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Bernad to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Gonsalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tiburcio Gelacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Bernad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Francesco having to interfere.
