In the 30th minute Remigio Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Rosario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Caitano in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Barbosa during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Raimundo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Lucio Abel in the 44th minute really tested Cristobal Rosario's skills. Maximiliano Felo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabian Hunfredo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Hunfredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guayacán FC's Fabian Hunfredo got a free kick in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Patron HC's goalkeeper Danilo Rufo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Nataniel. Guayacán FC's Cristobal Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Caitano in the 96th minute of play. Guayacán FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
