In the 22nd minute, Jeronimo Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes El Moderno got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Lico. Narciso Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Moderno reached it. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when El Moderno's Nunez Lastur in the 42nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Clemente Benvido was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for MILLO FC through an amazing save. Clemente Benvido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Lastur in the 44th minute. Filiberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Theobald in the 47th minute of play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Honorato Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Moderno's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Cordaryal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Benvido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Moderno's goalkeeper Filiberto Erlantz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nunez Lastur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Benvido was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in El Moderno's zone, Narciso Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Erlantz came out of the goal and Narciso Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Erlantz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Hustaz in the 82nd minute. Honorato Cordaryal hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Theobald in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Erlantz saved El Moderno from getting behind. After having played for 90 minutes, Narciso Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Hustaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Narciso Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MILLO FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
