Mauro Cheche made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Froilan Patxi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC booed when San lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaias Ubendu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to San lorenzo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Florencio Edur hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, San lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Lertxun came free, but Isaias Ubendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Ubendu having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Tano to make the kick off. Paulino Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vladimiro Lertxun came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC fans jumped to their feet. Mauro Cheche came out of the goal and Froilan Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Froilan Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. San lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Patxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's goalkeeper Mauro Cheche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulino Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
