Leonardo Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Bakar having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Villa Adriana's Ignacio Iban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Bakar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lázaro Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Zanjitas got a freekick which was hit by David Barrionuevo. The long shot by Carolo Koldobika in the 47th minute really tested Lázaro Bakar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Villa Adriana's Hilario Obano got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Iban in the 53rd minute of play forced Zanjitas's goalkeeper Lázaro Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Villa Adriana's Hilario Obano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Bakar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Felix Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Hilario Obano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilario Obano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
