The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Guillelmus got free with Javier Laurin in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Javier Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Gauargi in the 14th minute of the match. When Honorio Napier came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Leones F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Napier couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luro FC's goalkeeper Javier Laurin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Honorio Napier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Javier Laurin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Javier Laurin managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Leones F.C's Honorio Napier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silverio Sagrario hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Honorio Napier came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Leones F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Napier couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Leones F.C's Raimundo Misael got a free kick in the 29th minute. Javier Laurin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Napier in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Luro FC's zone, Basilio Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Laurin came out of the goal and Basilio Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andres Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Marco Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Honorio Napier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Raimundo Misael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Luro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Gauargi came free, but Javier Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marco Guillelmus came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Leones F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Guillelmus couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes of play, Leones F.C's Honorio Napier made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Laurin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91 played minutes Leones F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Acuña. Luro FC's Nereo Mark couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Leones F.C.
