Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Endira kicked off to start the match. River Plate ♥'s Horácio Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Lobo in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, River Plate ♥'s Hugo Endira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Beturian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Lobo in the 15th minute of play forced River Plate ♥'s goalkeeper Horácio Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Domingos Firman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate ♥ and the Rodo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Firman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Tomás Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Hugo Endira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Rodo FC's Tiburcio Micael made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodo FC's Tiburcio Micael got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Criston shot from long distance after 36 played minutes, a shot that Pedro Beturian with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After 39 played minutes, River Plate ♥'s Adriano Nunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Beturian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in River Plate ♥ reached it. In the 40th minute, Delmiro Salomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Botelho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vinicio Cordero. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Endira in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Beturian prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 54th minute Tiburcio Micael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adriano Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Criston recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Beturian. Rodrigo Criston showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Vinicio Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Horácio Botelho came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rodo FC's Rolando Peyo. But to his dismay, Rolando Peyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Rodo FC's Osvaldo Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Tomás Tanio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rodo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Plate ♥ the free kick. Tomás Tanio hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Horácio Botelho came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rodo FC's Rolando Peyo. But to his dismay, Rolando Peyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Pedro Beturian made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Hugo Endira sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Tomás Tanio in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by River Plate ♥'s Delmiro Salomon. Rodo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of River Plate ♥ for a fine match.
