After a rather tough play, Tio MIKE's Genaro Lleir got a free kick in the 6th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Camilo Kaiet notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tio MIKE's Fidel Eyague. Fidel Eyague was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, Tio MIKE's Urbano Guillen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Lucero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Urbano Guillen's late challenge caught a Yupandú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Guillen helped the player get up and apologised. Urbano Guillen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Camilo Kaiet made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Eyague. Tio MIKE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Camilo Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Leopoldo Eusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yupandú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Eusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Eyague having to interfere. Leopoldo Eusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fidel Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Ugaitz made a kick off. Camilo Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Eusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Eyague having to interfere. Fidel Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Eusko in the 59th minute of play. Fidel Eyague came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Yupandú FC's Camilo Kaiet. But to his dismay, Camilo Kaiet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Leopoldo Eusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yupandú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Eusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Kaiet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Eyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Erasmo Porfirio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Eyague skillfully saved the ball. Leopoldo Eusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fidel Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Eusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Eyague having to interfere. If Camilo Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yupandú FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
