The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Peio made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Gessler got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Tuste. Ascencio Viego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Eusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Niceto Peio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Severino Lucero made a huge save. Ascencio Viego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Colon in the 68th minute of play. Horacio Pes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino Lucero. Yupandú FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Severino Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Natalucci in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gessler defense, Camilo Kaiet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ascencio Viego. The Gessler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ascencio Viego should have stopped the shot. Cristiano Natalucci succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. In the 88th minute, Gessler's Cristiano Natalucci dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Cristiano Natalucci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Lucero came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristiano Natalucci slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 94th minute. Gessler's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
