Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Instituto ACC's Matias Jobo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Laurendi in the 3rd minute of play forced Instituto ACC's goalkeeper Javier Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Instituto ACC's Javier Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Laurendi in the 4th minute of play. Matias Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9.12.18's Rogelio Laurendi got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Chinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Javier Aguilera made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Barto during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matias Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Eleder having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 9.12.18! In the 26th minute, Matias Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes 9.12.18 got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Beliran. After 30 minutes, Matias Jobo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. 9.12.18's Raimundo Eleder tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Matias Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9.12.18's Raimundo Eleder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Jobo in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Rogelio Laurendi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Javier Aguilera. Rogelio Laurendi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Raimundo Eleder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Eleder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Jobo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Matias Jobo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Eleder was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Santos Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. 9.12.18's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Chinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Aguilera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Faustino Roldan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimundo Eleder, passed just outside the right post. 85 minutes into the game, Matias Jobo lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Raimundo Eleder. In the 94th minute, Teofilo Niguel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Instituto ACC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Instituto ACC played a much better game than 9.12.18 and deserved their victory. The 9.12.18 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
