A collision led to Ramos Mejia Gunners getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Teofilo Abad hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Humberto Froila put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eduardo Izotz. Nicanor Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Lorien having to interfere. When Gerardo Bakar came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ramos Mejia Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Bakar couldn't finish the play. Cesar Sandaili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Izotz having to make a save. In the 33rd minute of the match Alonzo Esiquio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Izotz skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Humberto Froila from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Izotz managed to make a qualified save. Ramos Mejia Gunners's players were relieved. Humberto Froila had several of the Ramos Mejia Gunners's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Eduardo Izotz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Newels old boys's Humberto Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 45 in the game by Humberto Froila from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Izotz managed to make a qualified save. Ramos Mejia Gunners's players were relieved. Humberto Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Koldobika made a kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Romeu da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eduardo Izotz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesar Sandaili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Izotz having to interfere. Humberto Froila took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Izotz. Eduardo Izotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Nicanor Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Froila took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Izotz. Eduardo Izotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Basilio Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Koldobika in the 77th minute of play. Eduardo Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeu da Fonseca in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Ramos Mejia Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Raymon. After 82 played minutes, Newels old boys's Jonas Fuica shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Izotz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newels old boys reached it. Humberto Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eduardo Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Cesar Sandaili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Nicanor Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramos Mejia Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Koldobika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Lorien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Koldobika's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Basilio Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Newels old boys were furious when Eleuterio Suarez was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newels old boys!
