Geronimo Urdaspal might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Theodore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Wilde's Anibal Refugio got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in atlas's zone, Anibal Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Theodore came out of the goal and Anibal Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Theodore having to interfere. When Geronimo Urdaspal came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Wilde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Urdaspal couldn't finish the play. Rafael Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Delmiro Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Refugio to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Aldo Sidoro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Celipe in the 59th minute of play forced Wilde's goalkeeper Delmiro Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Pueblo's late challenge caught a Wilde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Pueblo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62ndth minute of the game Anibal Refugio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but atlas's Angelino Theodore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Anibal Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wilde's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Refugio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geronimo Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. But to his dismay, Geronimo Urdaspal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Tauro during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wilde's Constantino Tauro got a free kick in the 94th minute.
