With a left leg Esteve Basualdo saved Club Atletico VillaModelo from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico VillaModelo's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Darien came free, but Esteve Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Vela's late challenge caught a Paredon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Vela helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Vela hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Felipe Ursino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paredon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Ursino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Basualdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froilan Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Sadurni might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Basualdo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Sadurni ran back to his position shaking his head. Esteve Basualdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Horacio Sadurni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eustaquio Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Sadurni in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Eustaquio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paredon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Darien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horacio Sadurni struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Esteve Basualdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paredon FC. Horacio Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Esteve Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Basualdo having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Felipe Ursino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Esteve Basualdo. The goal made the score 0-1. 62 minutes into the match, Club Atletico VillaModelo's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Ursino came free, but Esteve Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Esteve Basualdo managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Paredon FC's Eustaquio Darien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felipe Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Esteve Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Miro during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jimeno Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Jonas Corderun fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paredon FC's protests and gave Jonas Corderun a yellow card for diving instead. If Horacio Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Txurio charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Txurio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delmiro Txurio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A hard shot 77 in the game by Eustaquio Darien from a close distance when the talented Esteve Basualdo managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico VillaModelo's players were relieved. During the 81st minute of the match Sebastian Vela completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sebastian Vela a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 82nd match minute, Club Atletico VillaModelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Vela to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Ursinos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Esteve Basualdo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Esteve Basualdo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Mauricio Guillelme sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Basualdo having to interfere. If Felipe Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lucio Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paredon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Dominguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
