A collision led to Newels old boys getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eleuterio Suarez hit a great ball. If Humberto Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Mazuste hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Emiliano Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Fuica charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Fuica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Newels old boys's Jonas Fuica got a free kick in the 20th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Racing Club's Emiliano Fix tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Guillermo Cebrian kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Newels old boys's zone, Constantino Ekialde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Lorien came out of the goal and Constantino Ekialde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute of the match Tobias Umbruso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Lorien skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Newels old boys's zone, Haroldo Cheche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Lorien came out of the goal and Haroldo Cheche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 35 in the game by Humberto Froila from a close distance when the talented Leandro Bieito managed to make a qualified save. Racing Club's players were relieved. In the 36th minute, Raimundo Txilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racing Club's Leandro Bieito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu da Fonseca in the 43rd minute of play. Humberto Froila succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 46th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Emilio Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leandro Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Humberto Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Bieito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Bieito came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Newels old boys's Romeu da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Romeu da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 69 played minutes, Newels old boys's Alonzo Esiquio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leandro Bieito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newels old boys reached it. After a rather tough play, Newels old boys's Pastor Odol got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Jonas Fuica notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Racing Club's Leandro Bieito. Leandro Bieito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78thth minute of the game Romeu da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Leandro Bieito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Newels old boys getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jonas Fuica hit a great ball. If Erubiel Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Faron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Newels old boys's goalkeeper Basilio Lorien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Cheche. The long shot by Isidoro Beat in the 94th minute really tested Basilio Lorien's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Haroldo Cheche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Basilio Lorien made a huge save. Basilio Lorien made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Haroldo Cheche sent off a good shot on target.
