Santurce's Eleuterio Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 魏青卫 in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Abelardo Edorta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Benitez in the 31st minute of the match. 魏青卫 struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Eleuterio Libertad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpo F.C.. Ruben Erauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Benitez's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Abelardo Edorta struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ruben Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santurce. Abelardo Edorta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ruben Erauso made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 魏青卫 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruben Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Edorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Santurce's Eleuterio Libertad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Santurce from getting a goal against them. When Abelardo Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Santurce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Edorta couldn't finish the play. Santurce's Joel Benitez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match Elpidio Gaueko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eleuterio Libertad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Leonardo Beliran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santurce the free kick. A collision led to Carpo F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leonardo Beliran hit a great ball. Joel Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ruben Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Valiente hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Abelardo Edorta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santurce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ruben Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
